Watercolours

Geoff loves the subtle and evocative effects that can be achieved with watercolours. Varying his use of the medium to express different subjects, he is able to capture the changing atmosphere and moods of the British landscape, or the rich colour, texture and detail of still life. With a limited palette he exploits wet-into-wet to depict mist, cloud and atmospheric changes,
but equally he enjoys the challenge of capturing the subtlety of plants and flowers in this most sensitive medium.He uses watercolours as well as oils for painting both miniatures and larger scale works.
