Geoffrey Herickx

For Geoffrey Herickx, painting has held a lifelong fascination, and after leaving school he went to Birmingham College of Art where he studied painting, drawing, sculpture and graphic design. In the years that followed he specialised increasingly in painting, and in the last nine years has developed in particular his interest in painting miniatures.

More recently he has taught wood sculpture to blind and partially sighted students. When time allows, he creates wood sculptures on a commission basis. His sculptures are usually based on forms in nature, highly finished, and intended for display in a domestic setting.

Prices for paintings are from £150 - £1500, depending upon size, complexity of subject and optional framing costs. Any commissioned painting can usually be supplied within two months of order, and can be mailed to customers if personal collection is not possible.
